This first pic looks like an A&F ad. The haziness is a nice touch. The beach is almost always hazy.




The best thing about this last photo is that amazing deco table and the nouveau wallpaper. Fabulous.

Caturday - at last!

Finally Caturday has arrived. Good points: it's a gorgeous day, the sun is shining and the garden is calling. Bad news: company is coming tonight and the house is filthy and will take all morning to clean. Bleh. Kittens pics are so much better than housework.

Sunday bonus - Dad & the cat

I've been wanting to put this one up for awhile. It is so perfectly surreal. Why are dad and the cat just sitting out there in the field with a bench and a lectern? Is kitteh speechifying? Preachafying? Who can say. But it's a great photo.

No hangin with my peeps today - I'm still trying to get past this cold. At least the sun is shining and it is a beautiful day outside. Check out these great set of pics. I love these two kittens exploring the sofa. So adorables.

Valentines Day is coming up. All week long it's vintage pics of guys in love, or at least playing the part. This first one cracks me up. It's the gayest presentation of the military I've seen in a long while.

Caturday Caucusing

The caucuses are today and I really should be out supporting Obama, but I'm sick so I'm not going.


Valentines Day is coming and I'll be posting loads of cute pics of couples - cats and guys both (well, okay, mostly guys).

I think these 4 go together well. The attention of the subject moves away from the viewer leaving them a voyeur at the end. The alternating light and dark aspects are a nice touch as well.
