I love the light in these two photos. The way the cat glows. The dark tones on the left where the busy work of day to day life waits, while the right is light and calm on the water where the boys are heading. Wonderful, complex lines run thru both making intricate angles. And yet they both exude a sense of stillness. They feel like Sunday.

The kitty is pretty, so fluffy, I think it has a little patch of color on it's tail too. The linoleum... I have linoleum just like that in my basement. It contains asbestos and no trash hauler will take it because of that. So it remains in the basement.
The divers... when I look at the photo I think of the photographer trying to freeze time at just the right moment with his/her shutter button.
